Parmesan Crusted Chicken With Provolone And Bacon Recipe


First let me say, I have seen similar recipes but I do things a little differently. I love this Parmesan Crusted Chicken With Provolone And Bacon Recipe! My whole family loves it so much that it is almost always a weekly or Bi-weekly meal for my meal planning.

Back to the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe. This meal is pretty easy and really doesn’t take much time or skill. I am all about easy with three kids running around! I also have picky eaters and this recipe is a Go TO. Let’s get into how to make this delicious meal.


   Parmesan Crusted Chicken With             Provolone and Bacon Recipe

Here’s what you will need:


  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2-3 cups of Parmesan cheese ( I use Kraft graded )
  • Oil for frying (  I use either Olive oil or vegetable but It is up to you)
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3-4 slices of cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 3-4 slices of Provolone cheese (you could use any type of cheese)Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Provolone and bacon
    I feed at least five people when I cook.  So I always fillet my chicken. This allows three chicken breast to turn into 6 and it also makes thinner pieces.

    Step-by-step :

  • in a bowl mix eggs with milk

  • in another bowl mix Parmesan with garlic powder , salt and pepper
  • dip chicken first in egg mixture then in Parmesan mixture set aside
  • heat your pan to medium heat and add you oil. (you only need to coat the pan )
  • cook chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side
  • heat oven to 400 degrees
  • on a cookie sheet, line with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top
  • place your chicken on the wire rack and bake for about 15 minutes (depends on the thickness of your chicken)
  • remove from over and add cheese and bacon
  • turn oven to broil and leave in for about 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted

Home Made Cashew Chicken (No Cashews)




Home Made Cashew Chicken

This recipe  is My kids and all their friends FAVORITE meals! Seriously every time one of their friends are spending the night I get begged to make this for dinner! ( I think maybe my daughters friend come over just to eat! Just kidding) My daughter is allergic to Cashews and Pistachios so we can not actually have those in our house. This recipe is a NUT free recipe as is our home. Cashew Chicken even in restaurants do not use any cashew oil  or cashews anywhere except for toppings.

This recipe serves 6-7 depending on your family. You can adjust as you need to. I like things to be simple and cheap. It really doesn’t get a whole lot easier.



Ingredients :


2- 2 1/2 cups of flour
4 Lg Eggs
3-4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
Vegetable oil for deep fryer ( I just got a Huge deep fryer for my Birthday. I love it. It does take 3 bottles of vegetable oil to fill to the “max line”
Salt and Pepper
2 Tablespoons of milk
Cashews (optional)
Fresh chopped green onion (optional. I usually use green onion but forgot to buy it)

Directions For Chicken:


Deep fryer should be set @ 350 degrees

Mix egg and milk together in a bowl

Put flour and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl or even a zip bag ( I prefer the zip bag. Less      cleaning)

Cut chicken into chunks


Place chicken first in egg than in flour. Coat evenly. ( I like to shake the chicken in my zip bag)

Fill you deep fryer with the a single layers.


Fry for about 5-7 depending on the size of your deep fryer.


I always dump the chicken onto a plate with paper towels to soak up and extra grease then salt



Sauce Ingredients:

2 Large Jars of Heinz Classic Chicken Gravy

3 Tablespoons of oyster sauce

Salt and pepper to taste


Sauce Directions:

In a large pot, pour in both cans of Heinz Chicken Gravy (or the gravy you chose)

Add in the 3 tablespoons of Oyster sauce and mix well. Also a dash of salt and pepper


Set between med and low. Stir occasionally. About 5-10 minutes until warm
Pour over chicken and Rice. Top with cashews and green onion if you please.



That’s it! Simple. To make thing even more simple I use the Minute Rice (premium). I box will feed 6 or more people. I have figured out that there are 4 cups of rice in a box and you need to boil 4 cups of water, then add the entire box, stir and cover for about 7 minutes.. Fluff and serve.
